This article discusses the way in which Fox News displays images and content that is of a sexist nature. In this way, they are taking on a cultural studies approach, analyzing the images and showing how they are degrading to woman. It then proceeds to talk about how it reflects the disrespect of woman at News Corp. where several lawsuits and sexual harassment claims have occurred. This brings political economy approach into the equation because Fox News and many other news stations are all owned by News Corp. This is a scary thought, to know that all of our news is being controlled by a company that is highly sexist. The media is controlled by a superstructure, and the only other aspect is the articulation of the common people.
